Got my offer and subscribed. It does say if you cancel, you can't get a refund, so there is that. This is a ridiculous deal. Glad I got in on it.

re: Disney+ streaming service - November 12, 2019 launch

On a entertainment Facebook group I'm on, I alerted everyone about the deal and one person said Pass because I only make $7.25 an hour and can't afford it.

Who the fuck pays only $7.25 an hour in 2019. Who can live on that?

Signed up for the 3 year deal last night. We already give most of our money to Disneyland, so may as well go all in. In for a penny, in for a pound.

Here's another demo from D23. Sounds like this is the Apple TV version.

Give - until it hurts. Then give a little more.

And now the d23 site is getting hammered, probably because of that, and I can't get in. I should have signed up earlier this morning when I saw it available.

Did anyone know if the Fox classics will be available? That's the only thing I am interested in.

Well Fox is now Disney, so I would think so. They bought all of Fox, not just parts.

Disney, Pixar, Marvel and Nat Geo. The Simpsons will also be available.

The FOX movie library could be added down the road, but it's not currently in the initial plans right now.

Yeah, I wouldn't buy three years assuming the fox classics will be in there if that's all you're looking for. Just wait and see what they add. I think earlier in the thread someone posted they have a few like Princess Bride but not many.

Wow, the D23 site is completely offline right now. They really must have gotten hammered once word of this got out.

Luckily, I copied the disneyplus.com url from the Redeem button earlier when it popped up and just used it fine.

Yeah, that's pretty much what I found from a quick Google search. No mention of the classics at all.
Well, these are not humongous money making franchise, understandably they would be piled under the bottom of the priority.

Well, I'm in. I'm a sucker for cheap month annual or more subscription plans (See: DCU, Shudder).
Signed up for D23 yesterday, managed to navigate to the offer today.

I signed up for the free D23 membership today, wife said pull the trigger on the deal on the 30th (payday]. We’ve seen enough about Disney+ that this is a no brainer for our household.

And people scoffed when I said Disney was trying to kill Netflix...

A pox on you. A pox on all your houses!

Fuck it, I just signed up too. For $4 a month for the next three years and tons of kid friendly content for our three children seem worth it. And I want to check out those new Marvel shows. We don't pay for Netflix, so that helps justify the purchase a bit as well.

Can't find a "View My Account" link on the mobile site and I have no email from them, not sure how to proceed.
