Re: The VUDU Thread - News, Bargains & UV Codes
They do with the Free2D program, at least the first three do. Take the time to read about it, learn it, and you'll never look back.

Re: The VUDU Thread - News, Bargains & UV Codes
So did my first Disc to Digital last night (25 titles)...and yes I did use Free2D. However, I only did discs I actually own (cross my heart). I just didn't want to go upstairs to the movie room, fetch all 25 (including some box sets), come back downstairs and load them. Also, my only BD rom drive is on my desktop pc, it's much easier to use my wife's old laptop (which only has a dvd drive) and do it that way while enjoying time with my family on the couch.
While I don't advocate the program (Free2D) for illegal purposes, it can certainly be useful for those of us where our discs and pcs are in unfavorable locations. |

Just let it go OldBoy...no one wants to hold your hand through the whole process. :)

Re: The VUDU Thread - News, Bargains & UV Codes
If you Google Free2D, the community is the FIRST result that comes up.

I threw in a lot of titles that were on this list, and most don't work. The Fugitive, Blade Trinity, Get Carter, and several others. None worked.
I was able to get Blade Trinity DVD to work. |
Re: The VUDU Thread - News, Bargains & UV Codes
Of course they are, I didn't make this up because I was bored. If you're looking at the latest update though Google Sheets, you'll clearly see them there. Just make sure you're looking at the list tab. And even though I have Trinity on DVD, I'm not paying $2.50 for when I also have the blu and should be paying only a $1 for (since I'm transferring more than 10 blu's).

I know, that's why I said you need to look at the list in Google Sheets.

I bought the disc/digital package, so I have the digital version to watch now and I'll have the Blu-ray when that's released in a few weeks. $25 and I'll have that extra digital copy for when it's actually released next month. |

They've know about it for years and haven't fixed it. So I doubt they'll get it corrected anytime soon. If you really want the digital versions, iTunes has the correct OAR. I think you can find digital copy codes for under $5 each. |

Unfortunately, the first two movies (Raiders & Temple) are the incorrect aspect ratio. They're cropped to 1.85:1 instead of the correct OAR (2.35:1).

Re: The VUDU Thread - News, Bargains & UV Codes
Blu-ray.com has a fairly big digital code forum where they sell codes. Or you can wait until the holidays and pick up the discs with the codes for $4.99 like they were last year.
