Thanks for the heads up. I do most of my grocery shopping there and didn't even know this was a thing.

You must shop at Walmart for everything. I thought I shopped a great deal at Walmart and have only gotten $30-something back the past year. Though I am a relentless value optimizer and will usually ignore an item there if it's not the cheapest price available.

We do all our grocery shopping at Walmart. So that's around $800+ each month. Although a lot of that is produce and meat which doesn't qualify. But we're constantly getting refunds for products like sodas, chips, and ice cream.

Re: The VUDU Thread - News, Bargains & UV Codes

I've scanned receipts for the savings catcher thing and haven't gotten a single cent back. Granted, I don't buy things there often--couple of times a month? My problem seems to be that I'm in a rural area. The app tells me my local competitors are Dollar Generals and other small chains that don't really have big weekly sales ads.

That makes sense. I think Walmart is aggressive about matching food items.

They removed them. Looks like someone jumped the gun and this program probably starts when London Has Fallen is available to rent on June 14.

Re: The VUDU Thread - News, Bargains & UV Codes

does anyone know how accurate the runtimes on bonus features are at Vudu?

i was looking into The Martian (Extended Edition) and they have the cut with what looks to be all bonus features that are on the Bluray.

however, the making of featurette, which i am most interested in, is listed as 26 minutes. the bluray lists this feature as 1:19.

so i was curious if maybe this was a mistake on Vudu's part. the other featurettes seem to be spot on in regards to runtime.

thanks for any info...

Just scooped up 10 Cloverfield Lane and noticed that you can also order the Disc & Digital package, which will give you an instant Digital version of the film to your VUDU account and then you'll receive the Blu-ray in the mail in about a week. It's roughly $5 more than just the HDX version of the film itself. That's a better deal and it's like getting an extra digital copy for free or to sell later on.

Yeah, that's where I did it from. The Blu-ray will ship directly from Wal-Mart.com. Not all movies are available to be shipped. London Has Fallen has the option but not Midnight Special. FYI. It'll ask you to confirm the shipping address and add sales tax if applicable then you'll get the conformation and instant digital copy and an invoice to your email.

I'm thinking it'll show the option for it after a few days or a week. Maybe.

So this week I did two small trips to WM for groceries and used the app for the first time ever to submit my receipts - for about $16 and $18. I got back $.64 and $.99 respectively. Not a ton of money, but it'll add up after a while. Why didn't I start using Savings Catcher sooner?! Thanks again.
