All are now $19.99 each. If they drop another $10, I'll be very tempted to buy.

Survivor's Remorse: Season 1 is currently $1.99 (HDX) at Vudu.

This is a 6-episode comedy show from Starz. I've never heard of it, but it looks good. It gets an 81 at Metacritic.

The upcoming CBS show Limitless: Season 1 is $19.99 (HDX).

I don't know if this is going to be a full or half season show. And with new shows, you always run the risk of it being canceled after a few episodes.

Plus CBS doesn't have the best track record with serialized dramas.

That show looks good too. Then again I loved The Matrix (I).

Mental note to catch it later if it catches on.

Re: The VUDU Thread - News, Bargains & UV Codes

What happens if you buy a "season pass" for a new show and it gets cancelled after just a few episodes? I've noticed not every show lets you do that, but there's likely been at least some so far where that's happened.

If the show gets canceled, I'm pretty sure you're SOL.

That's probably why CBS has priced their new shows so low. Limitless, Angel From Hell and Code Black are each $19.99. Returning shows from CBS are all $30-$40.

FREE MOVIE - The D Train (HDX)

In case you missed Alan Smithee's post in the Hot Deals section. This is UV-compatible, so it'll transfer to your Vudu account.

Thanks- but it's not going to make me fall for the New DIVX they're doing on Jurassic World. I'll just wait for the 3D Blu-Ray.

It isn't fair to call it the New DivX for, DivX only lasted a year, iTunes (Movies) and Vudu have been around for 7 times that and are actually convenient.

Are they only allowing for rentals of the 3D version? I'm not familiar with this situation, so I'm curious.

Vudu is starting 4K rentals for the Roku 4.

Unfortunately, it's like $10 a rental, $30 to own. Ri-fucking-diculous.

Re: The VUDU Thread - News, Bargains & UV Codes

Little tip for anyone that uses VUDU alot. I've been transferring some older regular DVD's to VUDU using the VUDUToGo program.

If you transfer 10 or more Blu-Ray's are $1 and regular DVD's upgraded to HDX are $2.50 each. I've transferred at least 100 over the last couple months.

One odd thing though....some of my older movies I don't have on Blu-Ray say "Problem reading disc". When I go and put in the 2nd disc, usually the extras disc...it reads it and allows me to make the transfer. This happend with my 2-Disc Fight Club and Seven discs. Very odd that it would only accept the Extras disc and not the movie disc.

Either way....absolutely love VUDU. Up to about 450 movies in my library so far.

Their D2D system is nice when it works, but it's wildly buggy and rarely adds much from a back catalog. Not to mention the movies with messed up aspect ratios.

Re: The VUDU Thread - News, Bargains & UV Codes

Here's a preview of the upcoming Thanksgiving Sale. Prices probably won't be reduced until Tuesday.

Lots of recent movies for $9.99. Older titles are $4.99-$7.99. A bunch of $0.99 rentals. And TV Seasons for $9.99-$19.99 and current seasons for $29.99.

http://www.vudu.com/movies/#uiPage/179

I might pick-up HBO's Band Of Brothers and The Pacific for $19.99 each.

You can get blurays of both from best buy on Black Friday for $9.99 each. Not sure if they come with DigitalHD or not
