I've only got 10 of them, so I'm probably going to bite on it. There are many movies I've considered buying before, and many I haven't seen but would like to.

I don't like that it shows the bundle as HDX when most movies have the UHD option, it should always give you the best available version

Happens all the time with FaH… Deals are HDX and not UHD.

I recently bought a HDX Godzilla bundle, and shortly afterward it upgraded them.

Criterion Sale this week. Most titles are $9.99, but some are $5.

Re: The Fandango at Home (Vudu) Thread - News, Bargains & Codes

Amazingly, I don't have any of those Lynch titles digitally (though I do have a FWWM Blu Ray and the Criterion of Mulholland Drive). I'll probably get that.
And I did pick up For All Mankind from this sale. Had thought about buying that Criterion but didn't

That said, it's a little disingenuous to call this a "Criterion Sale" when none of the special features are included.

There is a 5 for $15 WB action movie sale. Mix and Match

https://athome.fandango.com/content/...andmatch/50672

I already own 20 of the titles. The remaining ones I don't have aren't great, so probably a pass for me.

Unfortunately only HD titles, despite many being in UHD.
I would pay $3 each to upgrade some.

I have all the Universal Hitchcocks, but I’ve been holding out on stuff like Strangers on a Train and Suspicion until the WB Master of Suspense set went on a sale. A few years later, it finally happened, but it’s $24.99 for six movies, one of which I already have, so $5 each. For that price, I might as well wait for a regular sale on the two or three I want.

The Hitchcocks might be available through disc to digital. I think that's how I got them a few years ago. Sometimes I forget that's still an option.

They are Criterion titles, though, so the issue is probably their digital strategy and not Vudu's branding.

I got the Lynch, Rohmer, and Berri bundles, Modern Times, For All Mankind, The Red Shoes, The 39 Steps, Tess, and the Kurosawas I didn't have (Yojimbo, Sanjuro, Throne of Blood, Hidden Fortress). I wish they had bundles for Kurosawa, Sam Fuller, and Three Colors. And fortunately I remembered to first get some gift cards for 10% off.

I converted as much of my library as I could, then kind of forgot about it, but I rarely buy physical discs anymore. The last one was Wicked, which came with a digital copy.

The only BD I have of the Hitchcocks is NxNW, so converting my DVDs would be $5 anyway.

Just a heads up if you are doing the 5 for $20 Assassins Movie deal, the TV show The Continental: From The World of John Wick is included.
Not only was it a lot of fun, t's like getting 3 full movies.

Keep an eye on that Criterion sale. They’ve been adding a few new titles and switching up the $5 movies.

i grabbed House, The Lady Vanishes, The Lure, White, and upgraded The Others to UHD for $5 each. I might also get The Brood, Demon Pond, and Eating Raoul.

Thanks. Picked up both Jean de Florette and Manon of the Spring in 4K for $5 each. (The Bundle of the two films is still $14.99 however, for whatever reason)

Re: The Fandango at Home (Vudu) Thread - News, Bargains & Codes

I added some of the $5 titles.

The Kid
Army of Shadows
The Lady Vanishes
Eating Raoul
The Others

In previous Criterion sales, I had no hesitation in buying for $9.99, and now I’m saying, “Hmm, maybe it’ll be $5 sometime in the future.”

Re: The Fandango at Home (Vudu) Thread - News, Bargains & Codes

Alto Knights, the Robert De Niro movie that was a huge flop a few months ago, is showing up as an $8.99 deal on my account if I want it.

That's pretty cheap for a relatively new movie, but I'm going to pass and wait for it to hit HBO Max. I really have not heard anything good about it.

Some new titles added to the Criterion Sale. Most of the new ones are $5.

I grabbed Cronos and Rashomon, and upgraded Time Bandits & Night of the Living Dead to UHD. I'll probably add In The Mood For Love, The Trial, Solaris, The Last Emperor, Chungking Express, and Walkabout later.

Re: The Fandango at Home (Vudu) Thread - News, Bargains & Codes

Thanks... I only had Time Bandits (Criterion) on disc so grabbed the 4K digital copy. Had a $5 credit too from Fandango.

Good thing I used the credit now... They used to give you a month to use the credit from Fandango VIP... now it's 3 weeks. I almost lost it.

Mentioned on Blu, check your My Verizon app, if you are a customer. Any time deals has a $15 Fandango at home GC, as well as a regular Fandango for theaters.
