re: The Fandango at Home (Vudu) Thread - News, Bargains & Codes

I didn't re-use anything, but I have three passwords that I usually use for all my various emails/accounts. Each time I changed the Vudu password, I got notice of a log-in when I hadn't logged into Vudu again after changing the password. I wound up creating a brand new never used password for any account that I have, and since then there has been no login's.

re: The Fandango at Home (Vudu) Thread - News, Bargains & Codes

Someone hacked into my account yesterday and rented Sing 2 for $5.99. I got the email saying i was billed. I had to call Vudu to refund the charge and I had the movie removed. They got 1/4 into it before I cut them off. I changed the password again and had to manually remove each device one by one. I think it's possible when I hit deactivate all that it missed a few. So annoying.

I think it's time to reformat your computer to remove any possible keyloggers. And definitely update every password you have after that. Sounds like a lot of your passwords are being stolen lately for multiple streaming websites (and hopefully not any financial websites).

No, I'm not scrubbing my computer. I have realtime Malware and Virtus systems check on my computer.

So far after I changed my passwords and logged out all devices, I think I'm good right now, especially my Vudu account. I try to make my passwords with different variations, but it's next to impossible remember all of them. I know, this is the hackers jobs and many of these companies have data breaches and such.

and I just checked, my software does have Keylogger protection.

I checked mine and had a hundred or so…I suspect they are mainly my browser log-ins.

re: The Fandango at Home (Vudu) Thread - News, Bargains & Codes

I've had the same password on Vudu for 12 years and have never been hacked. Only time I had anyone ever got into a streaming account was for Hulu within the past year or so since I started subscribing; it alerted me that a new device had signed in that wasn't mine. I almost would've let them just watch it for free but they could've added channels and charged me for them.

I did have my free Spotify account hacked once and they added all kinds of rap crap to my playlist, took forever for it to stop recommending that stuff to me after that once I deleted it and added more good music.

Paramount ‘90s movies for $9 or less is a lame price point, but the Iconic Films of the ‘90s 10-pack is also $9. I already have Clueless and Runaway Bride, but that’s like Galaxy Quest for $9 and the other seven for free. Heck, I was just thinking the other day that I wouldn’t mind seeing The Truman Show again.

The others:

Wayne’s World
What’s Eating Gilbert Grape
Ghost
Kingpin
Superstar
Tommy Boy

Wow, it’s been a while since I cashed in on a significant misprice!

Some good titles are in this week's Summer Weekend Deals selection. The Worst Person in the World is $4.99. Highley recommended (unless you want to get the Criterion disc).

The Fright Night Remake with Colin Farrell is also on sale for $4.99. I don’t think it’s ever been that cheap.

I have an offer for The Batman UHD for $11.99.

I think I'll get it since I still have some 20% off gift card available.

I finally upgraded my DVD of From Hell, the movie in his filmography that I bet Johnny Depp never realized would one day best describe his wife.

Not sure if both of these work, but I don't need them. The UHD is currently onsale for $25, so it would be $15.

$10 off the purchase (any format) (and not the rental) of Jurassic 5-Movie Collection (Bundle)

Summer Weekend Deals https://www.vudu.com/content/movies/...4212?offset=55

Not as good as last week. They have The Prestige and Heat on sale. I highly recommend Sing Street for $4.99 though.
