No offer for me, but I don't own the Godfather trilogy digitally. I was planning on buying a cheap code for the UHD set on the secondary market. Now I'm wondering if I D2D my DVDs, will I get the upgrade offer?

I guess it's because I own the Godfather Bundle pre-Coda edition. Now I actually own the Coda release of Pt 3 but never redeemed it. I wonder if I do that, will I unlock the $5 offer?

I've been curious about this one. It's a buck more than a rental, so I'll bite. (I've been waiting for parts II, III, and Rocky Balboa to get UHD transfers before I invested in the series digitally.)

I got the Coda for $3, I own the original trilogy in HDX. Godfather p3 (non-Coda) is one of those hidden titles now. Can only see it if you scroll through your collection.

I might just wait for iTunes. I only own the first one there, and it upgraded to 4k.

3 bundles, 2 of which I already own the highest resolution (bought/redeemed individual titles) Wolverine 2 claws, and Deadpool chimichangas. And Maze Runner, own 1st in UHD, others in HDX.

My story has a crappy ending, so far! Watched the first couple of minutes of Godfather in HDX so I could do an instant A/B comparison of that dark office scene.

Though I am able to stream in UHD on Disney + (and presumably others, though I didn't try) VUDU currently can't seem to muster up the strength for me to stream ANYTHING in UHD right now. Oh the irony.

Vudu in 4k depends on your device. I started using my smart TV app instead of my PS4 because of that. (Not sure about my PS5.)

I use my LG TV. Still nothing, though I didn't try all day and night. I was able to start Godfather in HDX again, and some others, but UHD is still being a bitch. Ahh well. I may log out and log back in, that always works, right?

It FINALLY started working tonight. As for my A/B comparison, what do you know, the image is noticeably sharper and more detailed in UHD. Mission accomplished!

I decided to redeem those GOT 4k offers before they expired, so I bought the monthly gift card deal, then redeemed my digital copy of season 8 (which I’d never opened because I watched the season on HBO and because… I watched the season on HBO and have never wanted to watch it again, but I bought the BD because I’m an anal completist). So after that, I got the s8 UHD offer, and everything’s going great. I go to redeem s1, but it only gives me the credit card option, not the new gift card. I’m annoyed, and have several seasons I wanted to put on the gift card, so I back out of the purchase wondering if I should wait till the card kicks in. Of course that voids the offer for season 1 (I lost a promo offer that way previously). Annoyed, I just put the other five seasons (because some digital copies didn’t redeem properly) on my credit card. I then go to one of the seasons, and it gives me the buy box to upgrade to UHD for $25. I sign out and sign back in, and get the same thing. So now I’m sitting here with a full gift card, $25 charged on my visa, and no 4k seasons. I assume the 4k will show up eventually? But I’ve never had a delay with 4k upgrades before. Not to mention that the upgrades I purchased were mostly for the inferior later seasons.

Anyway, rant over. I’ll use the GC on something for sure, and I’ll ask support if the 4k really never shows up, but I also have an unanswered question in to them from weeks ago.

Not clear, did you add the gift card to your payment section first? If so, it should have automatically used the giftcard at checkout.

I added S7 code, after the offers were showing but never got the UHD upgrade offer on S7. I got 1-6, but they were owned before the offer came out.

I never got an offer for S7 either.

I did add the payment beforehand, but I did it on web where I redeemed the code, and I tend to shop on console. Last time it applied immediately on console while the time before it needed a while to cycle through so I shopped on web to use it. Clearly I should’ve done that here, though as I said I’ll certainly use it up before long.
