The link itself had the words right in it as WeekendDeals. So while it is am MGM sale, the link they sent made it seem like a weekend sale for sure even if it isn't the regular weekend sales we had been enjoying. It came via a sale email (which I've already deleted) that was for Weekend Deals so maybe that is why it was in the link they sent.

Whatever the case, it's a strong collection of classics

Worst promo ever when most of those go on sale for $4.99.

Yeah, the decade/price point concept is fun, but I like to pay $4.99 for movies that old.

That said, sometimes they do pull out obscure stuff that rarely goes on sale. The recent ‘70s sale had some random French movies I hadn’t heard of.

Happy to see $5 horror movies, though I already have all I want there for the week. (I think they did this last October, too.) The original Halloween is now on its second 4K transfer and I'm hoping Vudu will offer that digitally at some point. I'm also hoping for a better sale on the bundle of all the Bond films, maybe on Black Friday? The only thing for me is The Ladykillers for $5. I know its the red headed stepchild of the Coen Brothers' catalog, but I really like that movie.

The Bond Bundles (at least Connery, and Moore) are also $29.99 on iTunes. Only HD, but with extras.

Good prices on the Bond films, although the amounts are imbalanced. Connery 6 films are $29.99, Moore’s 7 films are the same price, and Dalton’s 2 films are $14.99.

The Bond sale reminds me when I missed out on the brief pricing error they had.

I'm still debating on buying this collection in 4K for $99.99. I have all of them Blu-ray and 90% have not been open. I'm wondering how good they look in 4K.

TopCashBack gives 5% on Vudu purchases. Although I don’t know if that works when paying with gift cards.

I brought a $100 GC for $85 yesterday. Only to realize that taxes pushes the amount over $100. Stupid me, now I have to purchase another GC.

FWIW, buying the HD bundles will update each individual movie to the 4K version with extras. I bought the complete collection there yesterday.
