Didn't I tell you recently they are re-airing the entire season? They started re-airs the week after the finale. Or did you completely space out?

It won't appear on Netflix until sometime after the DVDs are released. Probably around September.

No I remembered and I've been recording it, but I have wait a whole week between episodes! It's like it's 1999 or something .

Added:
Orange is the New Black: Season 3
The Cobbler (the horribly reviewed Adam Sandler STV movie from the director of Station Agent. I actually liked 85% of this movie)

Does the resolution change whether you're viewing a movie on your PC or TV? Since my brother got Roku, I've noticed a considerable drop in the resolution. My TV used to be in HD, now, I think, it's in 480i. Is there anyway I can upgrade it?

Watch this video. It'll tell you the stream's bitrate, video resolution, etc. Let it run for a couple minutes. You should see it ramp up from SD to HD. Make sure you mute the TV, because the audio goes through various high-pitched squeals.

I keep it in my queue so that I can test whenever I think there's a problem.

Does it matter if other people are also using Rokus on Time Warner Cable Internet in my building or no?

Is imagine that it does, it'd depend on how strong the wifi signal is. If other people are using it, it'd be much harder to get more bandwidth for your own streaming.

Re: The OFFICIAL Noteworthy New Arrivals to Netflix Thread

I was testing out a new router so I logged into netflix on my tv yesterday to confirm that streaming was good, and the recommended film for me to add to my list was Bandslam, holy cow...I have been waiting for a blu of this film, or for it to be available on Netflix for several years. A fun movie, and do not let the fact that it stars Vanessa Hudgens stop you from giving it a shot. It is streaming in HD, and now I can retire the standard def version I have in my movie collection. Also, wow...did not realize Nightcrawler got added, so that is also on my list.

Always a pleasant surprise logging into Netflix and a film that you really enjoy is highlighted as a new addition for streaming.

I've been watching M*A*S*H on Netflix for a couple months now, and got to the end of season 11....and no Goodbye, Farewell and Amen. What the heck Netflix?!

Maybe some sort of legal wrangle. They're missing patchwork episodes of Quantum Leap seemingly at random because of music licensing issues. Though to be missing just one episode, and such a key one at that, is weird.

Yeah, unfortunately the MASH series finale is a 2 hour movie that aired and is licensed separately. Seeing as how the last 5 seasons were just added two months ago, I would expect they're still working on it.

I don't know if it's just me but it seems that they pulled Shaolin Temple (1976) from Netflix US.

I found watching Murder, She Wrote that some of the episodes were missing and not found on Netflix while doing a comparison with the season episodes guide.

Yeah, unfortunately Netflix more or less gets syndication deals. Most of the time those deals are missing a few episodes for licensing cost reasons, it's just way more apparent when it's on demand.

Looks like CBS's licensing for their older shows is expiring soon. I'm guessing it's unlikely that CBS will renew their licensing for their older catalog shows because they want to use their own site (CBS All-Access) as a hub for it.

Re: The OFFICIAL Noteworthy New Arrivals to Netflix Thread

I think DJarija is right in regards with licensing agreement of CBS shows at least in the US with Netflix. However, other regions have licensing agreements with CBS including some current shows like Two and a Half Men and Big Bang Theory. However, I have yet to see Becker in any streaming platform...

BTW, it seems Netflix is starting to cater to the Latino community by bringing more and more Telenovelas to the US. This is a huge market that Hulu has cornered right now.

I don't think CBS owns it overseas do they? It's a Warner Bros show.

I don't know but maybe that explains their presence on the overseas markets.

The God of Cookery was added today.

Very cool seeing this one in HD, looks way better than my old DVD -- and finally with good subtitles. The last 30 minutes are still pretty fantastic, in a truly ridiculous Iron Chef-spoof sort of way. It's available in English or Cantonese w/ English, Spanish or French Canadian subtitles.

Becker might not be that high in demand.
I liked One Day At A Time (Sony) ,(don't think its available streaming)and its on dvd for only season one.
