Did you just start watching the show? Just a warning though. Season 3 is probably the worst season of the show's run. The 22 episodes are an absolute chore to get through and the TV ratings for the show dropped like a rock as well. As you were.

The Gotham deal just means Netflix will get it a year from now? Not too surprising since they have other shows from Fox. Still cool. Hope they get some more DC shows.

Yes, it's post-broadcast rights like most shows currently airing.

nah, i've been watching it all along. you're right S3 wasn't that strong, but still better than a lot out there and it's still fun for me.

As a warning, (for now) Netlix only has 'closed captions' for subtitles, meaning 'footsteps' & 'guns cocked' are written out. And there's no english dub either, so this is puzzling

What's the deal with the Trek movies? They're up, they're down, they're up, they're down, the shows stay. Do Paramount have a weird contract or something?

RichC2 09-09-14 09:59 AM

Re: The OFFICIAL Noteworthy New Arrivals to Netflix Thread

I think they are in different batches / contract groups. When one contract expires, it covers a couple of the movies but not all of them.

All depends on how Paramount grouped them: by decade, by gross, actors, whatever.

Also the Nicholas Cage movie Rage was added today.

I think only seasons 4-7 were in high definition.

Great news, though. I've wanted to purchase the HDX seasons from Vudu but they are missing season 5 and have terrible customer service and rarely make an effort to correct things like that.

It's probably at least a 2 year deal with Netflix so hopefully there will be a better way to own them by then.

PS-Wow, from what I just read it's probably more than a 2 year deal!!!

i read that the reason is to try to sell the blu ray version

Re: The OFFICIAL Noteworthy New Arrivals to Netflix Thread

Makes sense. They need to release blu-rays sooner after a season ends.

3 Days to Kill (Costner, Steinfeld / 2014) was added today.

I never really noticed that Netflix is more or less Relativity's "premium cable channel", I assume this means Oculus (2014) and Brick Mansions (2014) should be on there by Halloween and Earth to Echo around Christmas with November Man around Feb 2015.
