It's kind of amazing to go back to watch "Freaks and Geeks" now and see all of the unknowns on this show back then who are stars now (ex. Seth Rogen, Jason Segel, James Franco) and that the show's executive producer was Judd Apatow.

Gods Bless America is a good movie. Very dark but enjoyable. Watch the first 5 minutes and you will know if this movie is for you or not.

Is there a site or app that will let you search the entire Netflix streaming catalog, across all the countries, for a specific title, and it'll display which countries you can stream in, along with whether it's HD, 5.1, subtitled, etc.?

I'm using a re-routing service that lets me switch Netflix regions on the fly. The problem is, if I'm searching for a specific title, I have to switch a region, search, switch again, search, etc. until I'm through the entire list (10 countries, for now), or until I find the title. As an example, searching for Quantum of Solace, I found that it's only available on Netflix Brazil, is available in HD, and may or may not be in 5.1 audio.

It would be awesome if there was a site that would consolidate all of the different Netflix catalogs and spit out the relevant information quickly so I didn't have to search over and over. :)

Reading the plot summary at NetFlix, the story sounds like it's similar to "Escape From New York" in its overall scenario. I'll need to check it out!

A Cat in Paris (original title: "Une vie de chat") [ link ] is a recent animated film from France that's streamable now.

It's an entertaining little movie with a plot that's much more like a thriller than one would expect going in.

Seal Team Six: The Raid on Osama Bin Laden ( link ) is streamable.

Clearly made-for-TV production but still a generally well-done movie of the mission that killed Bin Laden. (Note that if you want to skip all the early setup and planning stuff and only see the raid itself, just watch the last 25 minutes of this.)

Animated adventure movie based on the old comic strip and directed by Steven Spielberg.

(Although animated instead of live-action, I thought this had more of the spirit of the original Indiana Jones movies in it than the Crystal Skull movie did.)

Yimou Zhang's Flowers of War (starring Christian Bale) is available now as well.

Some "bigger" movies lately - nothing major but recognizable stuff these days - ie: Bernie, Tintin, Flowers of War, Stake Land, Pocahontas (Disney/1995), The King's Speech, The Artist, Take This Waltz, Art of Flight, Art of Flight: The Series (I have no idea wtf this is but it just shot to the top of my list)., Flying Swords of Dragon Gate, etc;

Their Action and Adventure section actually looks like somebody's Bluray collection instead of just random shit -- Get the Gringo, Stake Land, The Grey, Warrior, Seal Team Six, Super 8, Equilibrium, Immortals, The 5th Element, Bad Boys 2, True Grit, Braveheart, The Expendables, MI3, Conan, Battle Royale, Red Dawn (1984), Payback, Fearless, Haywire, Terminator, Flying Swords of Dragon Gate...

It's a good B action movie.
