I prebooked Charlie's Angels and 6th day from express.com, and today is here, and their website still lists them both as Coming Soon?!?!?! Well, im done with them, consider this the nail in their coffin, without my business, is out of business, at least for me...

I've had the Rock preordered since the end of Feb. It came out what, 2 weeks ago? And I still haven't gotten it from Express. So to answer your question, Express isn't doing too well with preorders lately. If I hadn't used a $25 gift cert I got free, and really want The Rock, I'd cancel and get something in stock.

express.com filed for Bankruptcy protection. They are trying to reorganize. Fat Chance .unless they can get cash to pay for Dvds up front you will not get your Dvd's. I would cancel and reorder somewhere else. If you used a gc see if they can reorder and in stock dvd or else you might get nothing from them.

I also cancelled my order from Express. It had been just sitting there ("In Stock" - ha!) for over 2 months. To heck with them, I say. There are other etailers that will ship my DVDs on time.

I had a 5-DVD order with them from before they declared Chapter 11. Not wanting to lose DVD Express, I noticed 3 were just pending, while 2 were preorders. I cancelled the preorders, and the remaining DVD's shipped right away.
So if have any pending DVD's being held back by preorders or backorders, then you know what to do - cancel the preorders!
Personally, DVD Express is one of the online stores that I would be sad to see go. Hopefully they're able to emerge from Chapter 11 - at least they're not in Chapter 7. They were the first online store I ever ordered a DVD from, and they've got a great DVD search engine when it's being kept up to date.

I ordered Empire Records and What Women Want. Both were mispriced at $10.49 and $13.99 respectively. I won't ever see them, I'm sure. I already re-ordered ER at Amazon.
Now, Buy.com has begun to suck (P.U. shipping!)... I hope Amazon stays!
