I had bought a set of the Oliver Stone Collection 15 dvd set from buy.com, and another from CDUniverse at the last minute before the prices jumped (actually, CDUniverse was the last I knew about that raised the price).

The Nixon 2disc set was missing disc 2 in one of the collections. First, I attempted to get CDUniverse to give me the disc (I don't know which set was which at this point), and they insisted I'd have to send in the entire set to get a replacement set. I explained it was a pain to repackage and send off the entire set, as it meant an extra trip to the post office. Oh well was basically CDUniverse's response.

So, I tried buy.com instead. I explained the whole thing to them, asking that I be allowed to only send in the Nixon 2disc set, and instead, they sent me a replacement Nixon 2disc set without even asking for the original.

That's good service, in my book. Too bad buy.com is essentially be penalized in this case by having the better service.
