I've placed three separate orders in the past 2 months with TowerRecords.com, and they claim that ALL, I repeat, ALL were lost in the mail. What is up with their service? I think they forgot to pay their shipping department staff, and they've got all that merchandise that the USPS "lost" down there in packaging. Because in all my sending and buying through USPS, I've never had anything get lost.
One of the DVDs I ordered was one that was going out-of-print soon, so I ordered it from them to use up some Flooz on a DVD that had been on my "to buy" list forever. Now, after telling me it'd shipped again for the SECOND time and it's still not here after two weeks. I called them up and they said it's out-of-print and they'll just give me a refund.
So I'm off to eBay to pay a ludicrous price for it.
The two other re-sent orders got here... eventually, after many, many emails.
Am I the only one who has problems with these guys? I know their main focuses are their B&M stores. But damn, they act like their online store is just a hobby, and they'll fill your order if and when they fill like, or you email-bomb them.

I've had recent problems as well. I ordered a DVD in January, which didn't arrive after a week to my address in Virginia. When I called their customer service, they said they had to wait 30 days to reship orders. The next week the rep said they had to wait 21 days, after which they would mail it FedEx. I had given up on receiving the DVD, and was awaiting the "21st" day, when it actually arrived on that day. The box was not damaged and there was no postmark on it at all. Who knows when it actually shipped. Suspicious to say the least. I won't be ordering from them anymore.

I ordered 2 DVDs in January (one was a pre-order)...both were supposedly lost in the mail. I had to email them and they sent me replacements for both.
I'm never shopping there again...I think their plan is to have you order DVDs and hope that you forgot that you ordered them.

I have been very happy with Towerrecords.com. I have made about 5 orders with them in the last 3 months with Flooz and coupons and I have always found them to ship fast and get DVDs and CDs to me quickly. I give the a THUMBS UP!!
