I have made only one purchase from OneCall. Back in 1998, they had a Technics SH-AC300 AC-3 decoder on clearance price for $138-- much lower than the price of any other AC-3 decoder at the time. It arrive quickly, and I'm still using it today.

Bad and good.
Six years ago, I ordered several amps and two Adcom line enhancers (about $4500). One of the line enhancer's LED power on lights did not work. Adcom had changed their power on switch from a rocker to a push button w/the LED built in. A CSR couldn't understand this and in order for me to exchange the defective one, I had to pay shipping both ways on the defective unit and wait until they received the one I returned before they shipped a replacement. I was pissed.
Since then, (even though I had a bad taste in my mouth, the price was too good to pass up), I bought two Velodyne subs from them (about $3500) and one of them arrived with a crunched cab even with $80 each FedEx shipping. This time, they sent me a replacement before receiving the return and did not charge me any extra shipping.
It's very important to read an online store's return policy and understand it. Crutchfield has a very liberal 30 day return policy and very inexpensive, two day shipping. I like them, when it comes to a product that you have to try in your home first to see if it sounds good first ie. speakers, but they're full blown retail on almost everything. One Call has improved and has some great specials.
