I'm expecting 4 things this week and usually by now I atleast have the shipping notice. Granted it's still before release date so I guess I really shouldn't complain. I was just wondering if I was the only one having "problems" with them I've noticed a couple of people in other places say they have already had things ship/arrive though (well for them I guess )

I'm having the same problem. 4 pre-orders still in the "on order" stage and one "usually ships in 24--48 hours" order has been "on order" for like a week

I never received a shipping notice for X-men or Gladiator. However, I received both of them in the mail today.

Additionally (if anyone wanted to know):

  • I placed my order for both movies on Sunday, Nov 12th.
  • Both items shipped on Thursday, Nov 16th.
  • Both items received (together) on Monday, Nov 20th.
  • Both movies (movie, extras, packaging) kick ass.

I just checked my email, and I still haven't received a shipping notice yet. Check your "account" at buy.com, and see if it says "complete" yet. If so, use the online tracking tool.

Good luck!

I have ordered (and have all shipped) Gladiator/X-Men (haven't received) Planes T&A (haven't received) Beastie Boys (got it today). Hopefully Santa will come a little early and grace my mailbox with his presence tomorrow. We'll see, though. See my thread about how the USPS has a current vendetta against my sanity.

HeimerSWT>> I placed my order at roughly the same time as you [no. correction. I placed my order on Nov. 7th!! ]and still havent received any info on my orders (Gladiator and X-Men). On my account info page, it still says "sent to warehouse", the same thing its said for days already. it looks as if I will be without my DVD's tommorow since I haven't even received a "shipped" e-mail either. I swore to myself that if Buy.com didn't come through on time I would NEVER use them again. Seeing as how even with a 10 dollar coupon, I still payed 30 dollars for the DVD's and Best Buy has them at 15 dollars anyways, buying from buy.com was a TOTAL waste of my time. Nevermore.

Gladiator still shows "on order" for me.

Buy.com shut down their Austrailian operations yesterday. Their stock price is down to $1.25 . Its taking them longer to deliver stuff, are they running out of cash?

I still have the on order status for Gladiator and X-Men. But with their record of tardy shipping notifications and status updates, I could find a surprise at my door later today

It never fails... One of the four items I have on order is cheaper @ Best Buy so I cancelled it yesterday from Buy and went out to pick it up this morning. When I got back on to email guess which one of the four shipped

Oh well, guess I have a Christmas gift for someone now...

I just wanted to say yippee-ka-yee! Buy.com finally shipped out _some_ of my orders. "Life of Python" came out of the barbaric pre-order purgatory, and a bunch of Criterions shipped out. This week's pre-orders (including X-Men) are still "on order" tho'... At least I'll have something to watch over Thanksgiving!
