I'm glad I was sitting down when I saw that my most recent order that I placed on Nov. 15th shipped out in LESS THAN 2 HOURS after placing it.

It all depends what hour of the day you place an order and when they begin filling orders in that day. If you place an on order in late morning, most etailers fill it in the same afternoon (at least Amazon and Buy in my experience).

Try ordering something on Friday evening, your order probably won't get shipped until Monday

eau-Your exactly right. What suprised me was that I placed it in late afternoon and didn't expect it to ship out until the next day.

Maybe their stepping up their shipping for the holidays or perhaps I just got lucky.

Was it 800.com? I thought a newly placed order won't show up in your account until 24 hours later. How did you know it shipped within 2 hours?

It was 800.com and you are right about the fact that they don't display your newly placed order in your history till the next day, but what they did was send me my shipping conformation e-mail which showed the Shipment Date/Time along with tracking information. I click on the tracking link to the USPS which showed they had the package and it was on it's way to my door.

Now if they would only send something to drink along with the free popcorn I'd be all set.

Well i just place an order on friday morning and they are not going to ship until monday. I guess, they close the warehouse on the weekends.
