Problems with items disappearing from 800.com carts

Was trying to place an order with the $20 coupon for $100 of merchandise with 6 $16.95 DVD's in my cart. I got right through typing my credit card info in, etc. and submitted it and the order came back with one of the items missing (and no $20 coupon subtracted). I checked on the missing item and it now says that it is "not in stock" even though it is a preorder item. Anyone have this happen to them?

I look back at my wishlist a few times , and it and a few other DVD's go back and forth between being available for preorder and "not currently available". I must have just submitted the order when it was "not currently available". What gives? I didn't get back a receipt for "what I ordered"! I'm also wanting to send out a Yellowbrix rebate on this order too and am not sure what to put down.

I feel for you bud! Last week I purchased 30 titles from them and had the same problems you described but just focused on the prices fluctuating (same title going up and down then up and down in price again) and the way they were calculating their free shipping, and got blasted for posting my concerns, from individuals who probably buy very little from them.

I had a very difficult time ordering because I would put items in my wish list and shopping cart I wanted to get at the price they listed only to find the next day when trying to finish the order the prices had increase as much a $4 a title (when they hadn't been on sale to begin with) or went out of stock. I swear, I thought they were getting into my account, seeing all the items I selected then screwing with them so I would have to pay more or because items went out of stock trash the whole order all together.

Also, on one of my orders I didn't get an email conformation after placing it. In your case I would call first thing in the morning and see what happened so that if your not happy with the order you can cancel it before it ships, otherwise you will have to wait 24 hours before you will see the order post in you history.

They have just change their hours (expanded them for the holidays) so I'm not sure when they get in to answer questions, and beware they have alot of temps now so if your not getting taken care of, try talking to someone else.
