Pets.com is cashing in their chips. They are laying off over 200 hundred people and will be selling the assests too.

Too bad. I got some great $15 off $30 coupons from them.

yup...the adds were kinda cool. Petopia.com went tits up too. Just goes to show...you can't make a new niche or bulldoze your way into one...you have to find one.

I will miss them dearly. I bought a lot of pet food for a local homeless animal charity because their deals were so good.
I will miss them the same way I miss Reel.

Well no surprise here, they were selling at retail prices on line!! They were suckee!

Thatpetplace.com beats their prices by a country mile, shipping is a litte on the slow side and no I don't work there.

dang, first dvd deal withdrawal, now dog food deal gone. well folks, it was fun while it lasted. who'd predicted all this last year while we were rolling in deals galore. my UPS man must be happy now...
