Well, I am on week 3 of my pre-ordered, already shipped, no response to emails, no service and no help in site ordeal with Twec.com.
The Movie: JP/LW Collection
The Victim: Me
I have resorted to sending an email to their so-called customer service every 2 hours now.
It wouldn't be to bad if they haven't had billed me weeks ago. Also a tracking number would be nice.
I did some searching on this site about a phone number but didn't find anything. Any ideas on what to do.
The main problem is that the status says "shipped". So, really have no way of cancelling the thing.
I wish there was some way of really hurting this company.

I also had mixed reviews on TWEC. First two orders were quickly and correctly processed. Last order was on time, but they failed to process the discount/coupon, and getting a hold of CS was a real exercise in futility.
I noted that some users have posted contact names, with toll numbers. While I do NOT object to toll calls, I have personally decided to not do business with any company that does not post a valid CS number. I have learned the futility of CS only available via email, and TWEC will not be seeing any more of my dollars.
To get my money back for the missed coupon, I simply called AMEX, and they issued me an on the spot credit. Interestingly enough, they had multiple experiences with complaints about merchants on the web who dont have reasonable methods to reach CS reps, and I detailed a lengthy request that they contact TWEC and express my disappointment with their system.
From here on, any establishment wanting my business will have to have live CS available. While it can be hard to assess how "good" the reps are, at least there will be a first line of live contact before resorting to disputing charges.
Out of a hundred plus purchases on the web, and over 10 yrs with AMEX, this is the first charge I had to dispute.

Thanks for the info. I will definitely get my credit card company involved before 60 days has passed.
Some of my first online purchases were from twec and I had no problems. I think I will give it until the end of this week. After that I will can that TOLL number and my credit card company. I am temped to just return it when it gets here. I really don't want them to have my money.
Thanks!

Call them at 1-800-540-1242 I always ask for Karen because she's always nice & friendly.
I've had a couple of problems with them out of about 30 orders. They will clear the problem up for you. If you ever need another phone number check here: http://talk.dvdtalk.com/ubb/Forum1/HTML/014531.html

Hope this helps!

I had 2 orders with them.
First one was fine, went smoothly.
Second was, well, let's just say there was a lot of yelling involved to get me my movie.

Just to update the situation.
I received my movies today! This funny thing is that when orginally shipped it was through standard mail. I received the movies in a Fedex next day air mail. Sound like someone messed up somewhere.
Thanks for being twec's service department. I am sure they appreciate it as much as I do.
