To those who got Toy Story UTB from Amazon

Did you get one of the defective disks that at the layer switch on TS2, it becomes High fidelity then freezes up? Someone in the Talk forum said he received a defective set from Amazon. I should be getting my copy from them tomorrow. How is everyone else's UTB from Amazon? Are they all defective? Thanks.

Got mine today. Toy Story 2 is fine. I do experience a lock-up on the supplemental disc under "Story" for Toy Story 2, but when I hit the eject button on my player (Tosh 2109) the item started playing. I'm not too worked up over this but if I can get it replaced easily I may do it. If it's the player, then hard cheese for me I guess.

Not all the UTB sets are going to have problems, only in certain regions of the U.S. Sorry, I don't know what areas, if your wondering. If you do get a defective copy of UTB, you can contact Buena Vista's customer service at 1-800-723-4763

My UTB came from Amazon and works fine. I was worried...but AOK when I checked it out. No errors yet but it will take some 10-12 hours to get through all the stuff. I'll let you know if it is COMPLETELY error free some time next year ...

Mine is Fan-fugu-tastic... No problems at all. I do seem to recall the article saying that the glitch happened to only about 100,000 copies and they were all earmarked for B&M stores in the middle of Bum **** Idaho. So if you're from Bum **** Idaho, let us know if your disc is defective...
