Is there a way to add say, another movie to an already made order at amazon. I have The Patriot and American Beauty on order there, and I am thinking about getting Pitch Black, which is also coming out on October 24th. I would like to save on shipping, and have them all ship together. Is it possible to add Pitch Black to my order on the website, or can I call them and ask if they can do it? Or is it probably too late? Also, if someone could advise me of amazon's number, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Make your 'new' order (Pitch Black). When your order has gone through, return to your order status page and there shuold be a button for 'combine open orders'. Click this and then check the boxes of the orders you want to combine, click submit and...bingo, your new order has been added.

...by the way, if you made your initial order with GC's, you will first have to change the payment method to credit card, then do the combining bit, then go back and change payment method to GC... ...confused? ...don't be, it's quite straight forward, but you better hurry on this before your discs enter the shipping process!!

I am pretty sure there is a way to do this. I am not positive but I beleive when you place an order you are given the option the add it to an existing order. Hopefully someone else here can clarify this.

Thanks for the help. Looks like it is going to work, I will have to change the GC part though. Unfortunately when I was in the process of combining the order, the account part of amazon went down for "routine maintenance." Great timing amazon!

Actually, it looks like it is not going to work. Patriot and American Beauty are already "one on hand" so since thay have entered the shipping process, i guess they cannot be combined. Still, thanks for the help, good information for future purchases.

If you paid for an order with GCs they won't let you add to that order. Best is to cancel all orders, the GCs go into your account at Amazon, then order everything all again and apply the GC credit to it.

Yes but if you used promo GC's that have since expired and you cancel your order you will lose them. The only ones that will be credited back are ones that have not expired yet.

I tried changing my payment method today from GCs to credit card to add a new item to an existing order, but it didn't work. After I finished it still listed the payment method as GCs. Evidently when you already pay with a GC it won't let you change back to a credit card. Nothing was listed in the shipping stage either.
