Just tried to order something from Amazon although not a dvd it was a book and a rather small one at that and they tried to charge me 4.49 for shipping??????? what's up with that? It wasn't even a hardcover. Anyone else have this problem?

I had the same problem when I ordered a couple if paperbacks earlier this week. On the upside, they were sent overnight UPS.

I don't see why it is a "problem", as such. Amazon has always been charging the same rates for books (for the past few years)... regardless of whether it is a hardcover or paperback.
