I just recieved one of my first orders for playstation 2. I woke up with a airborne express guy at my door with madden 2001 in hand. I looked on my reciept and it says that playstation 2 is going to be shipped on the 26th. yeah for me. Ill keep you guys informed.

Looks like I will not get my system at launch but sometime between launch and DEC 1st!!! I will be receiving Madden 2001 and my memory card before I receive my system!!! Oh Well, I will be busy with Medal of Honor Underground and Shenmue!!!

I pre-ordered a few PS2 games from buy.com back when they had a good coupon & free shipping, and I noticed that one of the games ("Smuggler's Run") has just shipped. But I pre-ordered Madden 2001 from ebworld.com, and it looks like they don't intend to ship it until the 25th.

You can get Psx 2 games anywhere now, but the system will be harder as hell to find.

I can't wait. Only 6 more days to go. Barring any unforseen circumstances I should have my system on launch date. The only thing is is I still can't make my mind up on what games to get. Nothing really stands out except Madden and SSX and I am not into either football or snowboarding.
