Does anyone know if Amazon will get a shipment of Playstation 2 consoles on the 26th.
I am wondering if I should save my GC.

I highly doubt it. There is a shortage of ps2s and amazon hasn't offered them for sale yet. I am also waiting - i think we might be waiting until next year.

They claim they will offer a few on the 26th of october, but I think there would be only 20 copies of PSX2 available by then. They will offer it for sale in two weeks that's for sure, and with a 100,000 psx2's coming every week in the u.s., they will get enough for everybody if you can wait 4-5 weeks.

Good luck. That's 100,000 for 20,000 retailers or an average of 5 per retailer. Granted that is an average and some will get more then others, but considering the demand it's going to be in short supply and hard to get for a few more months.

Cloud, add to what you said that we are still counting what Sony has promised and it is a big IF when it comes as to whether Sony does what they say they are going to do. We can't forget that not too long ago there were supposedly going to be 1 MILLION units at launch.
