Why do things like this have to happen?
After several years of running my website without any affiliation, I decided to join Amazon's affiliate program, partially to make some money to buy DVDs.
I figured Amazon would be my best bet because if their wide selection of products that extend beyond DVDs (like soundtracks and books).
I certainly did not expect the events which have transpired in the past month, including the failure to ship in a timely manner the Men In Black LE DVD.
But, what alternatives do I have? Another web site buddy makes enough revenue from his affiliations to keep his web site up and running, considering how tight his budget is.

Amazon's Associates Program is the best thing for me. Face it, no matter what people will stop at Amazon by the hordes. I know I will (as will others who click for GCs and ultimately DVDs). Amazon's customer service and incredible selection will have them running for a long time to come. If you're thinking of giving up on Amazon because of this stupid fiasco which involves things like the Jet Li Collection (which doesn't even deserve to be on DVD), I'd advise you not to.
