Has anybody used twec.com to order dvd's from. I know they're a subsidiary of Record Town & Saturday Matinee. Their prices look good but how is their service?
Thanks

TWEC is great! I've bought from them 4 times and have had a flawless experience each time. All of my items came within 2 days of ordering. Oh, and just so you know, if you use a coupon your CC statement won't show the discount but you'll see that you've been credited. Happy shopping.

Got my Abbott and Costello Meet Frankenstein 2 days after the release date. I've got 3 others on preorder. I've ordered cds from them a lot with no problems at all. The one weird thing about them is they charge your credit card for the full amount up front, then when something has to backorder they credit your account. Other than this,so far its ok. ------- Following up - got Brian Wilson Imagination Tuesday and Stranger Than Paradise today - Triumph of the Will would complete this order next week. OK so far and the price is right using their coupons.

Ordered 2 DVD's a while back. Received Prince of Darkness but haven't heard anything about Weird Science.

So far they are pretty good though!

This doesnt really apply to DVDs, but I purchased a dreamcast/controller/vmu. The Dreamcast said it was out of stock for 2 weeks, but funny thing is, I got the dreamcast in a week from order date, but no controller or VMU. I contacted their customer service via e-mail, and it took 10 days for them to respond, but once they did, the rest of my order was on the way. I just wish I could have found a 1-800 number for them on their website, but I havnt seen one. Just some long distance #s. Anyone else have one? (in case I need it in the future)

Other than that, I think they came through pretty well. Their DVD shipping seems decent and I havn't had a problem with that at all.
