It might have to do with when you placed your order. I placed mine for BOOGIE NIGHTS, MAGNOLIA and NbyNW in June at BUY.COM. All three arrived Monday the 28th.

I ordered EVIL DEAD II from 800.COM, Friday August the 25th. Says it's on "backorder".
Ordered ARMY OF DARKNESS from them two weeks before release and it shipped the day before the release date.

Timing may make a difference?!?!?

Absolutely nothing has shipped from Amazon.

Got my copy of T2: Ultimate Edition on Thursday from Buy.com so it was only a few days late. If you've been reading the trades on this DVD, there is a massive shortage as demand far outstripped supply. Mine was the 2 DVD-9 version (which I still haven't opened).

I really wanted a DVD-18 and I found one at Circuit City today for $19.99 which made me happy. That price was actually $1 cheaper than my original pre-order price. Woo Hoo!

I'll probably give the 2 disc version to someone for XMAS.

I'm quite happy at the moment although I have no time to watch all the DVDs I'm acquiring.... Can you say addiction?
