My 3 DVD pre-order of Platoon, Braveheart and T2 is on its way. I thought I might have got Platoon shipped early even though I shipped "together" as any kitchen stuff I order they always seem to ship it all separately, not so with DVD pre-orders I guess.

Ah well click for Jurassic park and Gladiator when its available.

Argh!!! My copy of T2 has also already shipped...the problem is, since I'm going back to college on friday, I had it delivered there! Amazon ships a pre-order early and I'm not even there to get it!

Got mine in the mail today from Buy.com, it's the greatest dvd ever made. way to go buy.com.

I had that same problem here. But, I had it shipped to me house via UPS 2-day, so I'd get it by Friday.

I got T2 today (monday) a day early from Buy! I like them more and more since they shipped me Magnolia and Braveheart early (got them Saturday) and haven't really run into anything major with them (except waiting for these pre-orders from Reel took FOREVER). Whooohooo!!!! The only problem is that as I inspect my Metal slipcase carefully, I notice mine is nicked in the corner (more like a tiny cut). Maybe I'll try an exchange at Best Buy tommorow. Anybody else have this problem?

I'll pick up a copy at Best Buy. This way, I'll get to choose a slip case that isn't banged-up or with any dings. I'll get a copy of Braveheart and Evil Dead II while I'm there.
When my package from Amazon arrives, I'll return them at Best Buy (unopened of course) with my receipt.

For those of you worried about getting a bent T2 sleeve, I suggest you do the same.

I thought of that ... and I do sell stuff on ebay ... but I think I might loose money on these if I tried to auction them ...

I just wanted to let you know I just got delivery of my T2 from Amazon today! They are GREAT! I've never had a problem with them and everything has always been shipped promptly....that's why I keep going back. I don't mind paying a little more if I don't get any headaches.

Btw, it's a pertty heavy case, I'm surprised they didn't charge extra for the postage!

I can't wait to go home and watch it!

Got mine yesterday from Buy. Sweet disk. My slipcase looked a tiny bit dented, but nothing that I would fret about. It still looks cool in my dvd rack.

I haven't watched the movie yet, but did play around in the menus and some of the extra stuff. This disc is packed and the menu system is about the best I have seen.
There is a slight glitch in switching from one menu to the next, but that isn't too bad.
Overall a great looking disc.

Tigger Movie - Must See!

Amazon's just about making my shitlist over this DVD. I ordered mine almost immediately once they put the page up. A friend of mine ordered his not too long ago at all, and has a confirmation on his.

If it was anything else, I might let it slide, but I've been drooling over this movie since I heard about it. After reading the positive reviews for the disc, I want it even more.

I have about 6 more discs on preorder from Amazon. They better be on time or I'm going strictly to Buy.com from now on. Christ, even CDNOW got all 4 REM DVDs to me before their release date...Amazon, what's up?

Yeah... mine hasn't shipped either. And its holding my Braveheart back because they are on the same order.

On a positive note, the re-release of 12 Monkeys did ship today along with Highlander.

I'd still give them time as I am sure they have had a TON of DVD orders to fill this week with Braveheart, 12 Monkeys, T2, Magnolia and others.

But if this is a sign of things to come, what is November going to be like with all of the major releases coming out?

Checked my order today and it says shipped as of Aug, 29,2000 Looks like I know what I will be doing this weekend.

Yeah, amazon is tending to **** me on preorders. I am starting to form an hypothesis that their order fulfillment is based on how much hard cash they will get from it, so if your order is mainly comprised of GC payments, they are in less of a hurry to fill it than an order that they are going to get immediate money from amex or visa... They have already gotten their hands on the money from the GCs.

Just my 2c worth...
