Ripped off
last week I began Christmas shopping using amazon. I wanted the boxed set of Big bang Theory seasons 1-5. on Amazon I was directed to the website dvdstocks.com where I purchased the set. They quickly took my money and now 7 days later under order status it says unfulfilled even though their web site says it is in stock. When I try to contact dvdstocks.com their web site tells me there is a problem with their customer service. REALLY? I contacted amazon and they tell that although dvdstocks is a some kind of sponsored site for them they have no responsibility to ensure the website is valid and not ripping folks off. Seriously??? I will NEVER use amazon again and find it deplorable that they participate in this sort of poor business practice.

Re: Ripped off
That's not true for certain products as Amazon will show items under the title "Product Ads from External Websites", which take you to a different website where you can purchase the item.
Here's an example.
http://www.amazon.com/WWE-Wrestling-...rds=mattel+wwe
Look right underneath the Product Description section to see the links to other web sites.

Re: Ripped off
That's not Amazon directing you. That's an ad on Amazon, paid for by a company. It's deceptive marketing but you clicked on it. You probably were ripped off, but that's what these companies aim to do. They prey on those that don't understand what they're doing.

Looks like DVDstocks.com has tried to spam this forum before:
http://forum.dvdtalk.com/dvd-bargain...ed-8-12-a.html
Some questions about dvdstocks.com...are any of these statements true:
-- dvdstocks.com is a scam
-- dvdstocks.com routes all profits to a neo-nazi group in Montana
-- The owner of dvdstocks.com is an emo hipster who listens to Creed and Nickleback
Any assistance verifying the veracity of these claims would be helpful.
