Quick question about Netflix;

Often times there are 10 free rentals offer codes lurking around.

But in order to use it, you have to sign up for Marquee, which is basically unlimited rentals for your first month.

Does that mean that if you cancel after the initial first month, you still have ten free rentals to use whenever?

Otherwise, isn't the 10 free rentals kind of misleading because you get them anyway just by doing marquee?

Another quick question: Can this also be done more than once? Can you use another 10 free rental code after having done it previously (as well as tried and canceled Marquee once?) I know for sure that you can only try Marquee once for free.

I'd appreciate any help!

My understanding is when you cancel your membership with Netflix you do not get to rent any additional movies and you have a period of time (one week?) to return the ones you have out at the time you cancel. They do not allow you to use a promotion if you have used one in the past.

Netflix has a "mature" section which is mostly Playboy and Penthouse titles. I believe there is another company that rents harder stuff, but I don't remember its name. Look on Yahoo or something, you're bound to find it!

I believe Netflix at some point has gotten rid of their Playboy and Penthouse stuff. Does anyone know when this happen or can the comment on it?

For adult rentals:
X Rent DVD. It's listed under the Store Ratings page on the DVD Talk main page.

As For Netflix:
Been using them about a year now. I've had a friend of mine use the 14 day trial 3 times now. I give him the code inside of the mail envelopes that they send the DVDs in. He waited a month in between each one. And they where all different codes. And he used a different CC Number each time.

And I don't see any adult or mature titles on Netflix.

I think that it happened last summer, around July or so. Why? I guess in their effort to expand and go public, they wanted a cleaner, more family-friendly image.
