Are you adding enough items to qualify?

"Get FREE delivery Tomorrow if you order $35 of qualifying items"

Amazon shipping seems to have gotten really, really slow for me lately. I had a package ship on Nov. 26th and I haven't received it yet. I have Prime, but I chose no rush shipping to get the $1 credit towards ebooks. It usually just takes a day or two more, but it's been in transit for over 11 days. According to the tracking on it, the package keeps getting bounced around from USPS facility to facility.

Yes, I tried it with 3 in there but it was still charging the fee.

Another package going to my P.O. Box. Here's the message I get:

"Carrier is unable to gain access to front door to deliver the package. Please contact the carrier to resolve"

I get that the post office wasn't operating today but the're just entering in bs excuses that make no sense into their system to make it look like they are delivering on time even when they are not.

Here's some more bullshit. Look at these 2 movies I ordered earlier today (well within the time frame for 2 day delivery). Both are listed as IN STOCK. No mention of additional processing time required. Yet, one is coming Friday and the other not until Monday. What do you want to bet one of the movies is in a warehouse nearby and one is far away? Where the fuck does Prime say you only get shit from warehouses close by in 2 days now?

It says they have X number in stock, so it shouldn't fucking matter.

So my order appeared to be lost in transit as indicated by the postal service tracking "unable to deliver. please contact Amazon regarding the next steps to be taken" I contacted Amazon and they rehipped both the items to me. So on Saturday I pick up the reshipped order and one of the original shipments show up as well.

I go home and look at my order status for the once missing order and it now says "delivered, signed by Young". It was delivered but my name's not Young. The post office seems to be just inputting any data into their system for compliance even if it isn't accurate. I contacted Amazon to see if they wanted one of the orders back since I now ereceived an extra one, but they said I could keep it.

I had one that said signed by Sherrell. I don't know anyone named Sherrell unless whoever is delivering the mail signs it....

Amazon is just being shady lately. They charged me $2 more on an order than they should have.. I contacted them on online chat a week ago and they said they would give me a credit for it. I never got the credit. I contacted them again via chat, they had someone call me from a restricted number. I had trouble understanding the phone agent, but they said they would give me a $5 promotional certificate that I could on anything shipped and sold by Amazon. We'll see if it works....

I've read your post a few times, but I still don't understand it. You are saying Amazon charged you $2 too much. Are you saying for example that you made a $10 purchase but were actually charged $12 on your CC statement, or something along those lines? A preorder price guarantee maybe?

Getting strange page/post count errors on this thread. Showing 28 pages long, but last post is page 25. One extra page is common, due to deleted posts, but what is going on here? Were like 100 posts recently deleted?

Amazon DE drastically adjusted the shipping charge on my last order without notifying me of any change.

I'm using the mobile version and seeing something similar, viewing page 41 of 45, but the other pages can't be reached. It's very possibly database corruption.

Yes I ordered two Blu-rays on Cyber Monday. The purchase confirmation email order total was $7.46, but they charged me $8.78.

Amazon damaged 2 items during shipment so they refunded 2 CCs.

I think it's a better idea just too send replacements rather than then have me see if I have been refunded and order again.

Wow, that's a new one from them, hope you get it worked out!

Re: The complaining about Amazon thread

Ordered another few things on Sunday which were supposed to be delivered on Wednesday. One looks like it will make it here on time. the other gets marked:

"Your package can still arrive today
It's delayed by weather or unexpected circumstances, but we're working to get your package back on track. Please check back later for more delivery info from UPS."

Any winter storm we had occured before I placed the orders and the roads are clear here with no new storms. One item went through the same postal processing center as the other, so if weather affected the delivery or transport on one package it would have affected the delivery or transport of the other.

It seems more and more the case of the postal service being unable to fulfill the volume that Amazon is giving them to deliver this time of year, so they are falsifying the tracking info and making up fake excuses for not delivering on the required or expected times.

I was in the post office yesterday and there was an irate customer complaing to their postmaster that packages to his house were being listed as "handed directed to resident" but not being delivered until two days later. He found one of his packages delivered two days left and left on his lawn which ended up soaking wet.

If Amazon can't get their Prime stuff delivered on time they shouldn't offer this service. It's clear that tracking is being mismarked in an effort to comply with delivery expectations. when I talked to one Amazon rep via chat, they even stated that the post office will mark some packages as delivered and then deliver the next day. If Amazon is aware of this, they should be doing something about it even if it's the post office's fault as their customers are paying for this service and sometimes more money for Prime items.

Anyone still waiting for Black Friday/Black Friday weekend orders?

I'm still waiting for Air Force One 4K (ordered 11/23) and Jumanji (2018) 4K (ordered 11/27)

I find it hard to believe it's about getting stock as much as it is Amazon waiting it out hoping people will cancel the order (both were under $10). :)

What does it say on the order page for why it hasn't been shipped?

I bought another private labeled made in China product that turned out to be complete garbage. It is a shower head. Non functional right out of the box. It said something like “luxury hotel grade”. Haha. Go fuck yourself.

This is the very last time I buy this trash on Amazon. The price point is low enough that it’s going straight into the trash. I’m going to Home Depot or Bed Bath and Beyond next time. Some people say it all comes off the same assembly line. I don’t believe that.

Now the worst part is that another seller got me banned ... I wrote about it a few pages back. So I can’t even complain in the reviews section.

My wife bought me Doctor Who: Tom Baker: Complete Season One from Amazon, for Christmas, it was OOS for awhile but finally shipped. Received it in good time for Christmas but the upper right corner of the BD case is shattered, held together by the shrinkwrap, packaging was pristine so it had to have happened before shipping. Put in a replacement order but it (apparently) won't get here till mid-January. Bye bye Christmas present.

...or you could just watch the fucking thing. I only do replacements if the discs are marked. Cases are easy to come by.

They were just "out of stock", but again, I wonder if this was a problem GETTING stock or the fact that they were hoping people would cancel their orders, as they were definitely taking a "hit" (i.e. loss leader) on the price. UPDATE: They both arrived this week, so I was happy to get them before Christmas.

Re: The complaining about Amazon thread

Their online customer service (outsourced, of course) is infuriating. I ordered a collector figure for about $30 last week and the price almost immediately dropped a couple bucks. I tried to cancel and reorder, but I kept getting an error message. I opened a chat with customer service and they offered a price adjustment with no hassle. I was told I'd receive a partial refund in 3-5 business days.

I never got the refund, so I opened another chat this evening. After getting transferred to three different "specialists", the rep kept me hanging on for over ten minutes before giving me the company line: we do not offer any price match as we consistently offer competitive prices on everything we carry. The rep obviously didn't comprehend my message, so I restated that I was already promised the refund and I had the chat transcript to prove it. They asked if I would hang on for a few more minutes while they did some "research".

After an additional five minutes of waiting, I told them I was done and they could just e-mail me with their findings. Of course, I never heard back and still don't have my refund. Why must this trillion dollar company create such a pain in my ass over a couple measly bucks? It's obvious most of these reps have zero authority. They respond like they have a gun pointed to their head in case they go off-book. There's no human touch anymore.
