Yeah, just about all my items were delivered today or will be here tomorrow. This thing is working out great for me.

I wish they offered a $1 store credit instead of a useless mp3 download.

Yeah, I'm also not seeing the offer anymore.

I'm slightly ticked off at Amazon. I ordered Jackie Brown with the No Rush Shipping option, but they chose to combine orders and sent it Two-Day Express along with my Rocky: Undisputed Collection -- a set that wasn't eligible for the No Rush option for some reason.

Anyway, I never got the mp3 credit for Jackie Brown. I e-mailed Amazon, but they told me that the slower shipping option was not selected for the order, therefore I was not due an additional mp3 credit. I checked the order online and it indeed lists Two-Day Shipping. However, I was damn certain I had selected the No Rush option. I went back and checked my order confirmation e-mail and sure enough, it lists "No Rush Shipping". So someone at Amazon altered the shipping speed for Jackie Brown without notifying me, canceling out my mp3 credit... and I was only $1 shy of having enough credits to download another album.

Re: Amazon Prime - No Rush Shipping

I still have the option, but it looks like the credit has changed to Movies and TV on demand.

Don't need your items in 2 days? Select "FREE No-Rush Shipping." You'll get your items in 5-7 days, and after they ship you'll get a $1 credit to spend on movies and TV at our Amazon Instant Video Store.

You'll receive your credit within 24 hours of shipment, and we'll email you then to let you know. You must use this credit by January 31, 2012. One per purchase. Terms and conditions apply.

Well, that's certainly less attractive to me. Maybe if I had a high speed connection, but my DSL is pretty slow. I'd much, much rather have credit towards music purchases.

I just placed an order for a couple of stuffed Angry Birds for my nephew's Christmas present. At first I split up the order to maximize the credit. Only one of them would give it to me. Weird. I ended up just going with the 2 day shipping option.

Re: Amazon Prime - No Rush Shipping

Looks like this just popped back up as an option (for me, at least). I was offered $1 for a movie/TV rental or purchase. That's still not my thing, so I passed and opted to get my stuff sooner.

Yeah, I've gotten it on most of my BF orders. Hoping to save up enough for a season of The Walking Dead.

Besides, it makes it easier to cancel items because they don't go into shipping status as quickly.

Re: Amazon Prime - No Rush Shipping

I'm just now starting to get this option and have used to it to rack up a few dollars worth of video credit. I wonder why it took so long? I've had PRIME for years.

I've had Prime for 4 years and have never had that as an option.

Re: Amazon Prime - No Rush Shipping

Yeah, I just started getting it too. Already have $4 in Amazon Video credit. Free movie rental, here I come!

I like how it works on anything fulfilled from Amazon, not just sold by Amazon.

I just started seeing it on mine as well. I thought the offer was the same for everyone. Are they offering this deal to those that order frequently and cost them too much on the 2 day shipping to make Prime profitable for them?

Seeing this again as well. I don't order as much from Amazon lately though to collect a bunch of credit like I was when I started this thread.

No, I think it comes down to local fulfillment issues by Amazon's warehouses. They are trying to manage their order flow better, since I think they have oversold their Prime shipping capacity.

Re: Amazon Prime - No Rush Shipping

I may have to go back to regular 2-day PRIME shipping, because 3 of my last No-Rush orders were supposed to arrive on a certain day and ended up arriving the following day. Sure, it' s no big deal but 2-day PRIME has always been flawless.

I also noticed that the Amazon Digital Video credit(s) expire 10/31/14, so who knows how long this promotion will last, or if it will be extended.

It's there on Safari, Firefox, and Chrome. I'm over it.

Re: Amazon Prime - No Rush Shipping

I think I've seen the option on IE. I've used it twice with no issues. It's been on items that I was in no hurry to receive.

I can see Amazon continuing to offer it. Saved them money in my case. I ordered 2 BDs which were less than $10 each, making the orders a few days apart. They ended up shipping them together.

Re: Amazon Prime - No Rush Shipping

Bah... I did this "no rush" shipping on an item and they didn't give me the credit. I hate having to monitor a company to be sure they don't scam you.

I think you don't get the credit until the item ships. Also, there may be a limit of number of credits and/or a max amount at a time.

Believe that's correct. Suppose it makes sense, since someone could place a bunch of orders and cancel them after using the credit.
