Re: Suspect Fraud in Ebay Purchase -- What To Do?

I can't believe it, but it looks like the same thing happened again:

I wanted to buy the new PS3 Motorstorm game, since it's an impressive use of 3D gaming. I went to Google Shopping to find the best price. It directed me to a store called eCrater, which I assumed was a regular online retailer, but actually turns out to be an online marketplace. I purchased the game and paid through Paypal to give myself some consumer protection (not realizing I was buying from an individual, I thought I was buying from the store); paid $39.99 for the new game shipped. Then I found it was a transaction with some guy. I emailed him at the email address that the Paypal payment went to, but he didn't reply.
Sure enough today I get two packages from Newegg. Both are new copies of Motorstorm Apocalypse. One was sent to me and billed to a guy in NY, the other was paid by a woman in VA. Must be that same triangulation scam. I tried to contact Newegg, but was waiting too long for an online chat. eCrater doesn't seem to have any way to contact the staff about fraud. I don't really want to go through the whole Paypal complaint thing either. Hopefully I can get ahold of someone from Newegg later.
Can't believe this same thing is happening again. Damned credit card crooks!

Strangely, the name of the online marketplace was erased from my previous post. Maybe it's not allowed? Anyway, it's e-C-r-a-t-e-r.

I'm guessing it was erased because somebody's tried to spam from there before.
