Amazon Site Changes?

I haven't been there in a while so I don't know when the changes took place but one thing that is really annoying is that I can't search within a DVD genre anymore. At least not that I can figure out.

On the old site you could fiddle around and get "Animation" or "Horror" or whatever in that little box after where it says Search. That way you could search within just that genre. I used it a lot. Searching and sorting within just one genre.

Anyone else find this really annoying?

I never knew you could search in a specific genre before!

You could. If you fiddled around choosing a genre or subcategory from the left side of the screen you could get that genre or subcategory to show up in that little drop-down menu box.

Now all there is to choose from is Amazon.com or DVD or VHS or Books, etc...

It used to be a really good function. Especially when searching for titles with common words in them. It eliminated a lot of search results you didn't want.

I sent them a feed-back e-mail. But that probably won't do much good.

Dang it. Ticks me off. LOL!

Hey! They put it back. Or fixed it. Whatever.

You can search in genres, etc... again.

Thanks Amazon!

Great Stuff!

I'm not fond of how you can't search the new release lists by "alphabetical" anymore.
I mailed the feedback link and got back a form letter type reply about how they're
constantly trying new things.

The totally revamped website is up ... but I see the new site only when I use Firefox. On IE, it's still the old website.

Well generally I liked the changes, then I noticed that their international shipping and handling rate is going up. Ah crap. Sucks for me.
