Could you let me know what problem you're having with the search engine? I'm in Firefox and it's working fine for me.

thanks

Dave

I've cleared cookies, caches, retarted IE, FireFox, and Opera, and it still redirects me. Oh well.

I'm using FireFox and have not had any problems with the search either.

We've been working with the hosting company and Network Solutions --- they're saying that some of the DNS changes may not take effect until after midnight EST. There will also be some delay until all changes completely propagate. Thanks for your patience

DDD Dave,

It would be great if, during a sale like the Universal one going on, you had the option like we used to to see all the sale titles listed on one page instead of clicking through 10 pages. Speaking of which, can you tell us when the sale ends?

Good job!

I keep getting kicked to a LearningSearch screen whenever I do a search. Hopefully that is just related to the DNS changes.

Thanks for the feedback. We'll work on getting that back up right away.

The Universal and Disney sales go through 2/28.

I noticed you mentioned that the Wish Lists will be carried over. When I logged in, my wish list was empty. Is it just a change over issue?

Yes, it will take a few more hours for all of the wishlists to be completely carried over.

Hi Dave,

First off, thank you for posting here, as it's much appreciated.

Secondly, now that the sites have merged, is there a plan for you guys to start selling Deep Discount gift certificates in the (near) future? They would make great gifts.

Thanks!

I'm having the same issue as Stoic. I'm on a Mac, and I use Camino.

Any chance of a Deep Discount branded credit card like Amazon and Borders have? I'm envisioning something with points that accrue and get redeemed for gift certificates.

Upon logging into my account, it shows an incorrect billing/shipping address for me. It seems to allow me to make alterations to my billing address, but not my shipping address. Do you intend to not allow customers to ship to addresses other than their billing address? And since the shipping address is wrong, how do I change it (besides opening another account)?

I believe when you want to make changes to your shipping address -- you must also update your billing/payment method.

Site is coming together great. I had some issues with the search earlier but things seem fine now.

Would it be wrong to ask about sales in the future, and if they'll be site-wide to include books?

Ah, I misunderstood:
Your complete order status and order history will be available on the new DeepDiscount.com web site after 7:00 p.m. CST on Friday, February 9th.
I guess it helps to actually read and not browse through the article.

I too would like to see this re-implemented if possible.

On another note, are you guys getting the Infernal Affairs trilogy?

I really like being able to sort by price and that there's space for plenty of info on each title's page.

No one else has mentioned it, but the top menu of the site is a little funky for me. Looks like some buttons are hidden until I put the cursor over it. Then it disappears. It doesn't matter if I full screen it or not, it stays the same. I'm using ie.

I managed to fix it on my end -- for some reason AdBlock is thinking the search bar is an ad.
