I don't know if it belongs here, but I just wanted to post some praise for DDD Customer Service Rep. Mark (or Marc) who I spoke with a little after 4pm (EST) today.
I placed my 3rd order of this current sale the other day and I seemingly re-used a code (due to a glitch I wasn't sure which code I had used on my first order). So, ultimately the 20% discount was not applied to my order (even though it showed in the first e-mail and still shows in the order status, but not in the second e-mail or third shipping notice e-mail which I received this morning). I called DDD first thing yesterday morning (I placed the order very late the night earlier) and spoke with a rep. who wasn't very helpful (I called just as they opened and it sounded like she was already ready to leave). Basically, she told me nothing could be done and I could just refuse delivery on the package. I'm a long time and frequent customer with DDD and thus was aware that it was just bad timing for me in getting one of their lesser customer service reps (maybe a temp brought in only for this sale?). I sent an e-mail but I suppose they are swamped so I've yet to hear back on that. I decided to call today and Mark handled it as I expected DDD would handle it in the first place....he said that when his system indicates that my order has shipped that he (aka DDD) would simply credit the 20% difference back to my card (and I could call back tomorrow to verify, and I could do the same later on the one back-ordered item that won't ship for a short time). Nice and simple, and I walk away (yet again) as a loyal and happy DDD customer. Maybe I'll do a 4th order now......once I dig up the most obscure code out there for this sale.

Hey Dave, since you are here, can I request a chance in your website design before the next 20% off sale? Browsing through the different categories looking for something to buy is way too much of a chore. I can't seem to find anyway to display more than 5 movies per page, which leads to WAY too much clicking. I think I would buy more if browsing was simpler.

Fraggle Rock is only $33.29 at Amazon (although they do raise or lower prices depending on your activity at their site. To get the lowest price you have to clear cookies, and when I do that I see $33.29 ) So would it be possible for DDD to match that ?

Dave, What about Rust Never Sleeps? Its 14.95 at DDD!!! and only 8.99 at Dvdpacific, 10.76 at Overstock.com, 10.85 at Cd Universe and 10.99 at Amazon. Anything around 11.00 or so would make a sale!

cheyenne season 1
Hi, Dave...thanks for the great job you do! Can you do anything about the Cheyenne season 1 set? Two days ago I received the version with five loose full-size keepcases with same art on each case...strange arrangement for 15 episodes (over twice the size of Big Valley & Wild Wild West sets which have 30 & 28 episodes). However, I understand that an improved Cheyenne set exists with a box slipcase containing 3 thin-pak cases (still 5 discs) with different artwork on each case...making it much more efficient and desirable. Any chance of DDD swapping for the actual boxed set? It's interesting to note that the Cheyenne set has evidently disappeared from the DDD site. Please help if you can...this is the worst "packaging" I have seen from any recent set.

I've never had anything but good experiences when dealing with DDD, and expect that will continue as long as I shop there. You guys are the best!

Nothing to request, just my praise for lowering the X-Files Sets. I didn't have enough money to pick up each season, but I got season 1-7. I'll probably end up getting 8 and 9 even without the stunning 20% off sale, but just after I recover a bit.

Dave. Titles that are "in stock" that are ordered, then come up as "discontinued". Will they ever be restocked, or will they not be available ever again? The item in question is the Guinea Pig Series set. It was sold out at first, then back in stock when I ordered, then I received a notice claiming it was "discontinued". Michael's Movie Mayhem has it as a current title still?

I have a question for Dave at DDD. What is going on with Fox's Boomerang?
Every time I call and speak to a CSR I get a seemingly different answer. The latest was that DDD had not been officially notified by Fox that the DVD had been cancelled and it had to remain as BACKORDERED as a result. It has been widely reported here in this forum that title has been cancelled.
Even more confusing are reports from some that bought Boomerang as part of the Fox B2G1F sale, as I did, have received a list of alternate DVDs to choose from, while I have not. All I want to do is change Boomerang to Decision Before Dawn, and it is like pulling teeth to do it.

I'm in the same situation as Paul. I've called and received conflicting information. I realize that DDD is probably swamped with this issue and the 20% sale, but if the rest of us can get a resolution estimate, it would be appreciated.

If you ordered this title under the Fox "Buy 2 Get 1 Free" sale on our site then you should have received a letter with a list of titles from the sale to choose as a replacement. If you did not, please email customer service with your order number and we'll send you a list and you can choose a new title.
If you ordered "Boomerang" by itself the your order will be canceled.

can you let me know what can be done about this I really wanted the Hologram covers not the embossed covers case that i got.please help
