The Legendary Walmart Dump Bin...

I was visiting my local Walmart in MA last night and I found a few 5.50 dvd's to buy. I know some people dump regular priced movies in there, on purpose or by accident, so what I do is usually look for 'DB' on the price sticker. Well last night I found Scent Of A Woman in the Dump Bin and it had the 'DB' on it, so I "assumed" it was 5.50..WRONG, it was 7.50! I was told it was not a dump bin dvd but why did it have the 'DB' on it? Well after a small discussion I was given the dvd for 5.50. Does anyone else look for the 'DB' on the dvd to be sure it is a dump bin dvd? The employee at Walmart seem surprised I knew about the dump bin...Is this a secret code or what?

I don't know about your Walmarts, but around here if an item rings up at a different price than what it is marked, they are supposed to give you another $3 off. It pisses them off when I call them on it every time.

yes, that is true, but very rarely will they point that out to you. i work at walmart and i know the huge number of mispriced items, if they did that $3 thing everytime, they would be out of business. i could make a grocery list just out of everything i know is mispriced and end up with alot of food for free.

There are 5 Walmarts in this area of MA and it seems all their dumb bins are different..Yes they have alot of the same, but I can always find something in one dump bin that the other didn't have...I love going to one Walmart and seeing their dump bin over-flowing with cheapies! I roll up my sleeves and dig right in!
