BB Reward Zone question

When you use it, does your name come up on screen for them?

I ask because my wife is buying me a lot of dvds for the holiday and it would be nice if she could use my card. I know it states that family cannot use the card, but how would they know?

Just curious if anyone knows anything about this, thanks

No name shows up, just a member ID number......

She should be able to safely use it.

The name (first name) only shows up in the receipt. That is, right after the cash register has completed the transaction and splits out the receipt.

You're supposed to be able to add the points later if you bring the receipt/card in. Or, you might be able to do it online now too.

Yes, you can add your receipt/transaction online if you forgot to bring or show your card. I did it once awhile (months ago), just followed the online directions. I have not visited their newly re-designed site yet, so I do not know if this is still available.

You can call in the receipt if you really wanted to after the fact. But I've even handed my card to family making a separate purchase behind me in line and they've said nothing.

If you forget to give her the card, they should be able to look up the account by phone number as well. I think they used to do that.

Yes, they can check your card by using your phone number at the register. I do it all the time since they have some idiotic rule about not replacing lost cards I usually just add the purchase online when I get home.

I do that all the time. No one ever says anything.

Not doing replacement cards is nonsense. I called last week about this. Mine is about 2 1/2 years old and the whole label/graphic on the front is peeling off, and completely beat up. My member number on the back is also missing a digit, which made it hard to access the site for some time. The customer service repsponse to that one? Take a magic marker and write it on there so I don't forget.

Well . . .

They must have allowed her to use it off the phone number; she didn't use my card (as it was in my wallet) but someone made an $84 purchase with my account by looking at the transaction history onsite.

Bet she doesn't know I can see that

I didn't know they don't offer replacement cards. I was hoping to get one at some point, because like yours, the front of mine will be peeled off in another year! What happens when the card become unscanable?

Semi-related question: Is it possible to change your address for RZ? It doesn't allow me to do so on-line (only e-mail can be changed). I'm moving soon, so I was hoping it was possible.

I changed my address a little over a year and a half ago. Called them up and did it over the phone. Went smoothly and it changed over quickly.

Lucky you. Mine took over 6 months to start arriving at my new place. They all kept going to the old address. Called them twice in the first 3 months to double check my info, and they had it. Fortunatly my old address was my parents place so I didn't have a problem getting my reward certificates. So I just let it go, getting my stuff from my parents. Then magically after another three months it just started arriving.
