DDD return policy for wrong movie?
I had ordered Madagascar (among many others) during the sale in widescreen, but today I received the fullscreen version. I called DDD about the problem, and was told they would send me a return sticker, and then once they received it, they would send out the correct version.
Problem is that will add an additional 2-3 weeks for delevery of the DVD. Is this normal policy with DDD? In the past when I have received incorrect item from other stores - for merchandise much more expensive than a $13 DVD, then correct item was sent immediately, along with a return sticker for the incorrect item. I was not upset about receiving the incorrect DVD since I know crap happens, but to now have to wait so long for them to actually correct that error seems very shitty.
Have others had to deal with this also?

Yeah, that's their policy.
And it does suck.

Another kinda weird thing - when I called about receiving the FS version, the cs rep said it might have been because there were out of the WS version. Turns out that they did have the WS in stock, and they rep said it must have just been a mistake in shipping - but the rep inferring that they would sometimes ship out a different version if the ordered version was oos seemed odd, though he might not have known what he was talking about.
