Something stinks 'round here!
I am not a paranoid person but from reading a lot of posts from new members there seems to be a lot of store bashings around here especially directed towards DDD and CH.
Why this sudden membership increase only for the purpose of pointing out their "problems" with these merchants? Are these plants by competitors?

Yep. And there's two main things that will make a lurker join and post:
1. They want to pass on a good deal - someone will invariably think they are a spammer
2. They have a question/concern/problem with a retailer in a big sale (like the DDD one currently going on) - this will make it look like they just joined to bash the etailer, which they probably didn't.
That said, I don't think there's any conspiracy to bash CH or DDD going on, I think a small percentage of bargain lurkers are coming out of the woodwork for the 20% off sale.
