I've been buying DVD's from Wal-mart for years and have never had an edited DVD. I have also bought unedited editions of movies.

While Wal-Mart is far from the perfect place to work, this isn't entirely true. My girlfriend is working there while finishing up college, and pay her $13/hr with no experience (not that much is needed to work at Wal-Mart). She had been working full time, as do most of her coworkers. She went to part time in order to study more, and they have a different set of benefits for part time workers, which really aren't all that bad.

Granted, there are plenty of other problems with the company, but I don't think the pay and benefits are it.

Wal-Mart's pricing for DVD's kicks ass. I generally go there first, especially now with the girlfriend's 10% discount.

Ya Wal-Mart employees get paid more than you think. Two years ago I remember a sign at my local Supercenter that said help needed $10/hour. When I worked at Wal-Mart in high school I started at $3.75 and 3 1/2 years later I finished at $6.60. That was in 1998. Plus you get 10% off. I have a college degree and have a tech job and started at $11/hour so save the cry stories about Wal-Mart employee's having it so hard.
