very interesting - seems like everyone is having problems all of a sudden. amazon GC always came right on time, except now. i called and the lady was nice saying it (coincidentally enough) got sent the same day i called (she looked at my record and said this was 2 weeks later than normal). but that was like 5 days ago and still nothing.

Looks like it's coming from a different place now. At least the envelope is different, and there was a packing slip in with the gc, which I don't recall from before.

I finally received my GC a few days ago after about 3 week wait. If this how long it is going to take from now on to receive the GCs I plan on cancelling the card. Since Amazon discontinued the STL program earlier in the year I cut my ordering down from them significantly, and the card is not that important anymore to go through this.

I thought I hadn't received my GC. It turns out I've had it for eight days! The envelope says Award Headquarters in the top left so I assumed that it was junk mail. I nearly tore it up tonight, but on a lark, I decided to find out what I had "won."

Why don't they just email you the GC number?

IIRC their story is they can't do it since the codes come directly from Amazon and it's not something the bank/CC service controls themselves. I'm sure if they really wanted too they could find a way to do it though
