The new Star Trek movies SE box set
Once and Again Seasons 2 & 3
Millennium Season 3
Office Space: SE

Basically anything I can't get from Columbia House or box sets that I can get for much cheaper than CH.

Most likely, the Direct to DVD releases for BATMAN: TAS + The Batman vs Dracula, and ROTJ: Uncut. (keepcase versions)

Plus a bunch of tv show season sets! Hopefully I will scrounge up enough money, but I think this sale is going to be light for me. I spent $400+ during the last sale, I believe.

There's always next Summer and Winter!!!

Fox, Criterion, and Disney, mostly.

Candide
Les Enfants du Paradis: Criterion
Firefly: The Complete Series
I, Claudius
A Letter to Three Wives
Leave Her to Heaven
Looney Tunes Golden Collection V. 3
Office Space: SE
Onibaba: Criterion
Penn & Teller's Bullshit: Season 1
Pickup on South Street: Criterion
Ran: Criterion
Rashomon: Criterion
Red Beard: Criterion
Richard III: Criterion
The Wages of Fear: Criterion
Toy Story

That list is obviously subject to revision, but that's what I'm looking at getting this time around.

I'll be catching up on some Criterions, specifically the Kurasawa ones.

I'm also debating between waiting for the last 2 Twilight Zone collections that I need (4 and 5) to hit Wal-Mart or Target or wherever the blowout location ends up being, or picking up the definitive seasons during the sale and putting collections 1-3 up for sale in my shop.

I might grab a few of the WWE DVD's I'm missing, and I'm hoping that the NWA:TNA PPV's are available on DDD by then as well.

Finally, I'm thinking of cancelling my order of the complete Buffy collection at Amazon and ordering it during the DDD sale. My only hesitation is that I don't know how limited a print run this set will be, and I don't want to risk losing the order with Amazon because I placed it within a few days of it being listed, so if there's an allocation I should be towards the top of the list.

If there's a risk of it being limited, I'd keep the Amazon order. How much will you lose if you have to sell it on eBay, or even ship it back to Amazon? Who knows, maybe you could even make a few bucks by selling it locally on craigslist right before Christmas! I'd think that's a better option than risking not getting either one, assuming that DDD wouldn't be able to ship it.

$0, if the sale ends before the 22nd. My only planned DVD purchase from DDD in November is the Warner Classic Mega Set. I'd be one happy customer if the sale went on long enough to include this set but with my luck the sale will likely go off the day before the set releases

OK guys, there's no guarantee there will be a sale, and even if there is they might change the prices a bit like they did the last time around.

So don't count your chickens and all that.

Last year they timed it before the big releases. This year the two biggest releases, Batman Begins and Ep3 should come before the sale.

Interesting...
