DeepDiscountDVD has a new, non-accidental (!) 20% off sale starting tomorrow (Friday, June 18, 2004) and continuing for a week, with this code: DVDTALK.

Apparently will not work on pre-orders, video games, accessories, electronics. Good luck to all!

I just wanted to confirm to everyone that the 20% off sale referenced here does truely start tomorrow! It runs from 6/18 - 6/25.

This will be the same as the sale that we ran last November/December. I do want to clarify some misinformation -- the sale does not include pre-orders. It appears that there was some miscommunication. It applies only to currently released DVDs (non-DVD merchandise is also excluded from the sale).

That being said, I hope that you all have an opportunity to visit DeepDiscountDVD.com over the next week to take advantage of the sale. Yeah, speaking of which I need to do this because:

During the checkout process of the unofficial sale last week, I got some dns errors because the site was getting hammered. So my checkout never went through after I moved all the items from my wishlist into the cart. So everything I was gonna buy then, I have to add back into my wishlist again. What a drag.

Hope this sale is legit though, that would be sweet!

I called DDD customer service, and they said that it does in fact start tomorrow, and they also told me that it will work for pre-orders also.
