Just got my new coupons for Jan and they are still movie or game... so I'm not sure where these rumors are coming from.

My coupons specifically say Movie rental, with no mention of game. Maybe if you joined before a certian date, they let you rent games too...

Just got an email that said they are giving me a choice between either 4 movie only coupons or the usual 2 movie or game coupons.

Did you check the plan? The one per week (four per month) movie rental means exactly that... each weekly rental can only be used that week. You have one week to use it or lose it. No thanks....bad deal for me (distance, cost of gas).
Plus, if you are on the $14.99/month plan they immediately jack it to $17.99. I'm going to pass.

I believe that was the deal. I have no interest in switching over as the game rental is about the only thing keeping me w/ Blockbuster at the moment (that and they are still a little better about getting new releases to me during the first week than Netflix).

So with them aggressively advertising the "52 free rentals" in the Superbowl ads, how long before they take away my two video game rentals? That ad also had sooo many disclaimers about how many movies you'd be able to get in a time period...
