DDD Question

I ordered a DVD from DDD during the 20% off timeframe. I got an email back on July 1 that it would arrive sometime between 07/10 and 07/15 (that was yesterday). I haven't received yet. Is this something that I should be worried about? Do they hit their window often?

What do I do if I don't receive it in a couple days?

If it doesn't arrive within 15 business days, email their customer service and they'll send out another. That's happened twice to me and they've sent a replacement out right away.

Thats what I did. Shipped on 6/18, called on 7/7. They shipped another. The 6/18 one arrived on the 7/13, I think, and re-ship one arrived today 7/16. I got to send one back now.

Knowing how bizarre the post office can be, I usually wait a bit after the date range shown - and over the years all but 1 DVD has shown up within a few days.

Try to wait 1 more week (5 working days). Sometimes the post office is a little slow.

I never had a lost order from DDD but I did have one take 20 days to arrive. Currently I am waiting for my last shipment from the 20% sale that is now into day 18 and counting. For some reason the last batch of shipments have been taking 14 days or more. I had two shipments take 14 days, another 15 days, and still waiting for the last one already mentioned. Typically it usually takes about 8 days after shipment for delivery to my mailbox.

I also received an email on 6/30 saying that they estimated my shipment would arrive between 7/9 and 7/14. Still haven't received it yet.

Definitely sounds as if the post office is having a summer meltdown.

I bought from them twice once the first time i did the "free shipping" way and received items within two weeks! During there 20% off sale i opted to pay for shipping upgrade of $4.50 i think and received my shipment by UPS 3 days after i ordered!

A different question about DDD. If I got a shipment that I don't want and haven't opened it yet, should I write "refuse delivery" on it and send it back, or should I open the package and use the return label in it and mail it back at my cost? I just want to make sure I get the refund back.

If you call DDD and get an RMA, they will email you a postage-paid label that you can ship the package back.

I emailed their CS about returning a duplicate shipment and they said just to write Return to Sender on it and drop it in a box.

I had titles ship on 7/5 and still haven't gotten them. I hear people complain about Media Mail all the time but this is the first time I've had a problem.

Just wait alittle longer -- I had backorder stuff from their sale ship before that and did not get it until just now. So far I have not had any lost packages from DDD. In fact, DDD media mail shipping is faster than FYE's ! FYE's seems to take forever !!! (weeks to a month it seems)
