Deep Discount DVD's exchange time frame?

I've been ordering DVDs online for years, and for the first time I received an order that was damaged during shipping (SMALLVILLE season 1, discs 2 and 4 came loose and the case damaged them beyond playability). I ordered from DDD and I know their policy, I'm just wondering if anyone else who has had to do exchanges from them can tell me about how long it took them to get their replacements, as I have been waiting to get this set for a very long time.

They use media mail for everything unless you've asked for something else. When I order, that can mean anything from 1 week to 6 weeks. Yeah, it's awfully slow if you're eager for something, but that's the breaks...

I had to exchange a defective title a couple of years ago to DDD and it took 2 1/2 or 3 months from when they shipped the first one, returned it and then they sent a replacement when they got around to it. I still use them though but at that time I did go several months without buying a thing from them.

I recently bought a DVD which arrived to be crushed. The entire box was crushed. I emailed DDD about it and they gave me the form to fill out and send it back to them. The whole process too about 3 weeks or so. Not the end of the world but not too quick either. I've always had good luck with them though and their customer service has been helpful.

Had to do an exchange once and it took about 4 weeks. Unfortunately what slows the process down is they wait until they get the returned item before shipping the replacement.
