Blockbuster Question

I have a ton of store credit at blockbuster. I have it all on my value card. I want Box Sets and most of the blockbusters don't always have the ones I want. Is there any way that I can use my value card credit to purchase box sets online? Or maybe I can order them and do an in-store pickup?

Or should I just have them special order it? I see the prices for the box sets on their website but I have a feeling that may charge more than that.

Thanks

You know, I had this same dilemma...I had enough credit to buy all Futurama and King of the Hill boxsets, but they never had either in any of the stores I checked. So I special ordered them. Let me tell you, the prices were EVENLY priced with Best Buy, CC and Walmart. In fact, every Futurama set was cheaper than Best Buy which was surprising! Special orders take a good 5-7 business days. Have fun buying, man.

I don't think you can order off their website with a value card....

Buy a gift card with your credit. Make sure it is one of the ones with a scratch off thing on the back and that the number begins with at least 6016. You CAN buy a gift card with a value card, but you CANNOT buy a gift card with a gift card. I ordered many things online, with most of the prices being cheaper than the in-store price......

Thanks for the advice guys. It just seems like some of the prices on their website seem somewhat reasonable but when I go in store they may be more. So I can transfer all my value card credit onto a gift card. Then I can use my gift card to make purchases online from their website? Sounds decent.

If I want a special order from blockbuster, what's the procedure? Do I just give them a list of what I want and they order it for me?

Thanks

Ive always ordered stuff from the store. usually takes 7-10 days. So far it has been the same price as online and sometimes 2 bucks cheaper on some things.

Here's a couple of comments.
1) Their faq section "Can I use my GiftCard online?" is answered with "GiftCards are valid for in-store purchases and rentals only" and is dated 3/11/05.
2) When I do a purchased, it asks if I want to pay with a gift card (like daddydaryl says).
3) The prices seem horrible. Horrible! For The Incredibles, paying tax and shipping, it was $27 + Yikes. What titles are you seeing that are even remotely competitive?
