Agreed.
The expedited shipping simply means that when they get the item, it'll be shipped non-media mail. Media mail, in my experience, has been in general rather quick [I mailed a game to someone Media Mail on Friday, and he got it Tuesday. And that was over July 4th weekend.].
But expediting does nothing with the speed of DDD's restocking, so expediting shipping on an OOS or backordered item or pre-order is money down the drain.

I use the free shipping and usually get the package within a week after it ships. Smaller packages (1 or 2 discs) seem to arrive faster for me.
BTW, I got everything I ordered during the sale (except for 1 preorder from that first early "unofficial" sale
). Even though one title was orginally on "back order", it was back in stock within a couple days and shipped immediately. DDD gets a big
from me.

My biggest complaint with DDD is why did I not spend more money during the 20% off sale. I will not make that mistake again. DDD shipping methods do not concern me one bit. Its free what can you expected. Can not be happier with my DDD first experience.

Love them, but probably won't place anymore "big" orders over 3 discs.
I have received all my in stock items and backordered items (sans one that shipped two days ago)...
...except for my big order of 8 items (half television box sets/half movie one discs) of all in stock items which shipped out a week after I received order confirmation (and they were IN STOCK).
But I do not have any complaints about their customer service, every person I have talked with has been very helpful. And I received all of my other orders in a very timely fashion for free shipping.

Count me in! I got in on the three DDD 20% off sales they recently had and all my orders (prolly 50 total) were handled flawlessly. Shipping does seem to take its time to reach me (Inland Empire), but I guess you can't complain about a free service, right?

Yep, awesome place. I didn't get in on their 20% off deal, cause I only placed my first order with them last week. I've been shopping at amazon all this time, but DDD's prices can't be beat.
I placed my order using a expediated shipping and it was delivered within 5 days. My experience with media mail has been less than satisfactory in the past, both as a buyer and a seller on half.com. Sometimes media mail is fast enough, but more often than not it's painfully slow. So if you're in a hurry, I suggest that you avoid media mail.
